Thirteen.

If you know me, you know that all things horror and halloween are what make my blackened little heart continue to beat on. Year after year, I am always searching for experiences that will make the halloween season even better. I have finally found the spooky endeavor in which I will embark upon this year.

Throughout the month of October, I will be taking the horror films that we all know and love, analyzing them, and creating cocktails perfectly paired to each film. I will post two to three articles a week, culminating on Halloween, bringing the grand total to 13.

These cocktails will come in all shapes and sizes. Riffs on classics, silly references, my own mad creations; I want to utilize all of it. The cocktails will take inspiration from the respective film's time period, the personnel involved in each film, and, obviously, direct references. This will all hopefully add another layer of connection to your drinking experience.

Lastly, I want all of these cocktails to use relatively accessible ingredients. Why create a list of cocktails so complicated that no one will actually make them? Speaking of making them, I am going to do everything I can to make each and every one of these drinks so that I can try them before pushing the recipe out into the world. Making them requires a lot of time and even more money, so I will do the best I can but no promises.
